For more than two decades, The Ranch Events Complex has been where Northern Colorado comes together.

It is where traditions are celebrated, championships are won, businesses connect, and families create lasting memories. From the Larimer County Fair & PRCA Rodeo to concerts, sporting events, trade shows, and community gatherings, The Ranch has become a destination for residents and visitors alike, serving as a cornerstone of community life in Northern Colorado.

Now, The Ranch is preparing for its next chapter.

The Ranch Master Plan helps guide future growth and investment while preserving the experiences, events, and traditions that make The Ranch special. The plan supports future investments that will improve the guest experience, support larger and more diverse events, expand recreational opportunities, strengthen tourism, and promote the long-term sustainability of The Ranch.

Because the Master Plan is a long-term guide, it is not a fixed blueprint. As planning continues, project details such as scope, cost, timing, location, design, and phasing may be refined based on research, feasibility, funding, and operational needs.

The first phase of investments, completed between 2019 and 2024, was designed with the community at the center. Today, you’ll experience easier ways to arrive and move around campus, along with expanded spaces for youth programs, livestock and equestrian events, multi-day RV stays, and the traditions that bring people back year after year. 
 

Expanding the Experience at The Ranch

The next phase of investments will expand how people experience The Ranch by creating more places to gather, explore, and spend time together. As new outdoor spaces take shape, you’ll see more opportunities for concerts, festivals, community events, and larger regional gatherings. Expanded event areas, future on-site stays, and a more connected campus will help turn a single event into a more complete destination experience. Together, these investments are designed to give Northern Colorado more reasons to come together, stay longer, and be part of what’s next at The Ranch. 

These projects are expected to advance over the next several years. As planning continues, timelines, scopes, and phasing may be refined based on design, feasibility, cost, and operational needs. This helps ensure each project is practical, sustainable, and aligned with The Ranch’s long-term vision.
