The Ranch is proud to support Larimer County’s next generation of agricultural leaders and community changemakers through two purpose-built spaces: the Thomas M. McKee 4-H, Youth & Community Building and the 4-H, Youth & Community Arena. Together, these facilities offer year-round access to high-quality indoor spaces designed for hands-on learning, education, training, and community programming.

Thomas M. McKee 4-H, Youth & Community Building

The Thomas M. McKee Building provides flexible space for 4-H activities, nonprofit events, and community events. 
Key Features:

  • 12,500-square-foot exhibition hall, which can be subdivided into three separate spaces
  • Six fully furnished meeting rooms with classroom tables, chairs, and built-in AV technology

Ideal for:

  • 4-H events, club meetings, and workshops
  • Nonprofit and Community events, meetings, youth programs, and small expos

We offer special community and nonprofit rates, available through the McKee  Rental Request Form, making this space accessible to groups aligned with our mission.

4-H, Youth & Community Arena

Opened in April 2024, this 41,000-square-foot indoor arena was purpose-built to support 4-H programming, year-round agricultural education, showmanship training, and youth development.
Arena Amenities:

  • 125' x 200' arena with bleacher seating 
  • An interactive smart classroom for meetings 
  • Demonstration Classroom for hands-on animal care instruction
  • Restrooms, office space, and a welcoming lobby

Since opening, the arena has hosted more than 100 events and welcomed over 1,800 youth and community participants through programs such as:

  • Livestock practices and showmanship clinics
  • 4-H educational events and workshops
     

By offering free access to Larimer County 4-H clubs, this facility reinforces our commitment to agricultural heritage and invests in the next generation of youth leaders.
