Nursing Pods

The State of Colorado protects the rights of nursing mothers to breastfeed in any public or private location without harassment. These nursing pods support that right and reflect our commitment to accessibility and inclusion at The Ranch. We are dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for all guests.

We offer two Mamava nursing pods on-site: a compact Solo Pod located in the Pedersen Toyota Building and a spacious, ADA-compliant XL Pod at Blue Arena. Both provide private, comfortable, and secure spaces for nursing parents, featuring Smart Access technology and thoughtfully designed amenities.

To access a pod, download the free Mamava App or visit the Mamava website to locate and unlock the pod.

Nursing Pod FAQs

How do I access the nursing pods?
You can access the pods by downloading the free Mamava App, which allows you to find the pod, request an access code, and unlock the door using your phone. You can also manually enter the access code using the keypad located on the pod.

Are the pods private and secure?
Yes. Each pod is fully enclosed and features a deadbolt lock with an exterior occupancy indicator to ensure privacy while in use.

Can I use the pod for breastfeeding or pumping?
Yes. Both pods are designed to support breastfeeding and pumping in a private, comfortable space. Each pod includes a contoured ergonomic seat, a fold-down desk, and a shelf with a standard outlet and USB ports, allowing you to plug in most breast pumps or mobile devices.

Can I use the pod to change my baby’s diaper?

No. Nursing pods are not designed for diaper changes. To help maintain a clean and sanitary space for all users, we ask that guests use designated restrooms with changing stations for diapering needs. Family restrooms equipped with changing tables are located throughout the campus.

Are the pods ADA accessible?
The Blue Arena pod is an XL model and fully ADA-compliant, with flush entry, grab bar, and a 60-inch turning radius. The Pedersen Toyota Building pod is a Solo model, designed for individual use, and is not wheelchair accessible.

Is there a time limit?
There is no enforced time limit. However, we ask that users be courteous to others who may be waiting. The Mamava App includes occupancy status and duration tracking to help manage usage.

Do I need to bring my own supplies?
Yes. While the pods include seating, outlets, mirrors, and hooks, users should bring their own breast pumps, wipes, or personal care items.

What if I need help accessing a pod?
If you experience issues accessing a pod or need assistance, please contact our staff at an information desk.

Sensory Room

Located located on the event level of the arena, our sensory room offers a quiet, calming space for any guest who needs a break from noise, crowds, or overstimulation. The room features soft lighting, sensory tools, and comfortable seating. It is free to use during public events and is especially supportive for individuals with sensory sensitivities, including those who experience autism, anxiety, or other sensory-related needs.

Quiet Spaces & Parent Break Areas

In addition to the sensory room, families can take a break from the activity in several open-air and indoor areas across campus. Look for shaded seating areas, quiet benches, or ask staff for guidance to the nearest calm space when you need a reset.

Safety & Lost Children Procedures

We understand how easy it is to get separated in a crowd. If your child becomes lost, please notify the nearest staff member or visit an information desk immediately. Our staff are trained in reunification protocols and will assist you right away.

For additional safety and peace of mind, Larimer County Sheriff’s deputies are regularly on-site during public events and large gatherings. They work closely with our event team to help ensure a safe environment for all guests.

Food & Snack Options for Kids

While vendor offerings may vary by event, many concessions provide kid-friendly meals and snacks. Outside food is not permitted in all areas, so please check individual event guidelines in advance. If you or your child has food allergies or dietary restrictions, we recommend speaking directly with vendors at the event to discuss ingredients and preparation methods. While vendors do their best to accommodate, allergen-free environments cannot be guaranteed.
