Event Plaza at The Ranch

A Space to Move, Meet, and Experience More

The Event Plaza is a redesigned central gathering and circulation space that helps guests move between venues more easily, while creating room for vendors, programming, and everyday use.

From vendor pop-ups and food truck rallies to high-traffic event days and evening concerts, the redesigned Event Plaza will support both daily activity and large-scale events year-round.

Spanning approximately 130,000 square feet, the Event Plaza will serve as a functional connector between venues, improving how guests navigate the campus while creating a welcoming place to gather, recharge, and enjoy the experience.

Project Overview

As part of Phase II of The Ranch Master Plan, the Event Plaza project includes a comprehensive redesign of the central outdoor plaza and surrounding circulation areas, paired with campus-wide infrastructure, wayfinding, and signage enhancements.

Planned project components may include:

• A 130,000 sq. ft. outdoor Event Plaza designed for flexible programming and daily use
• New landscaping, seating, and shaded gathering areas
• A community stage, play area, and covered pavilions
• Integrated “plug-and-play” event infrastructure, including:
  • Electrical and water hookups
  • Lighting to support evening and multi-day events
  • Designated zones for vendors, exhibitors, and mobile activations
• ADA-accessible walkways and improved pedestrian routes across campus
• Upgraded wayfinding and monument signage to improve navigation and visibility
• Enhanced circulation paths to support smooth crowd flow during large events

Final layouts and features will continue to be refined through the design process.

Project Status & Timeline

The Event Plaza and related campus infrastructure improvements are Phase II projects currently in schematic design. During this phase, the project team is studying plaza configuration, pedestrian circulation, accessibility improvements, event infrastructure needs, and how the space functions during peak activity.

These improvements are targeted for completion in 2026-2027 and are coordinated with other Phase II investments and campus operations.
