Making The Ranch Easier to Navigate, Safer to Use, and More Visible

Clear wayfinding is essential to a positive guest experience. Whether someone is visiting The Ranch for the first time or returning for a familiar event, they should be able to arrive, navigate the campus, and reach their destination with confidence.

This Phase II project focuses on modernizing campus-wide signage, wayfinding, and supporting infrastructure to improve navigation for vehicles and pedestrians, enhance safety during large events, and create a more consistent, accessible experience across the entire site.

Project Overview

As part of Phase II of The Ranch Master Plan, this project includes coordinated improvements to signage, circulation, accessibility, and pedestrian safety that support both everyday use and peak event operations.

Planned project components may include:

  • New directional signage for vehicles and pedestrians throughout the campus.
  • Monument signs at key entrance points, including I-25 and County Road 5 / Arena Circle, to improve visibility and arrival experience.
  • Updated branding, lighting, and materials to reflect The Ranch’s visual identity.
  • ADA-compliant signage and accessible routes to improve clarity and usability for all guests.
  • Enhanced circulation support to improve traffic flow and pedestrian movement during major events.

Final sign locations, designs, and phasing will be refined through the design process.

Project Status & Timeline

Campus infrastructure, wayfinding, and sign enhancements are Phase II improvements currently in schematic design. During this phase, the project team is evaluating sign placement, visibility, accessibility, lighting, and integration with overall campus circulation.

These enhancements are targeted for completion in 2026–2027, coordinated with other Phase II improvements and ongoing campus operations.

Why Wayfinding & Sign Enhancements Matter

These improvements play a critical role in how guests experience The Ranch. They will:

  • Make it easier for visitors to find venues, parking, and amenities
  • Improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety during high-attendance events
  • Reduce confusion and congestion for first-time and returning guests
  • Strengthen The Ranch’s presence and visibility along major roadways
  • Reinforce accessibility, consistency, and ease of use across the campus

Together, these enhancements help ensure The Ranch is welcoming, intuitive to navigate, and prepared to support a growing number of events and visitors.
