Larimer County Selects Flintco as General Contractor for Phase II of The Ranch Master Plan

Larimer County and The Ranch Events Complex have selected Flintco as the general contractor for the next phase of Master Plan projects following a competitive selection process.
The selection marks a major step forward in the collaborative delivery of a diverse mix of expanded event, entertainment, and multi-use venues for Northern Colorado residents and event organizers alike.
With Flintco selected, the project team will advance preconstruction, plan evaluations, timelines, costs, and other key project considerations.
“Selecting Flintco is a major step forward for the future of The Ranch,” said Conor McGrath, Managing Director of The Ranch Events Complex.
“They bring the experience, leadership, and collaborative project delivery approach we need to help deliver projects that serve our community on time and on budget, support our operations, and strengthen The Ranch as a regional destination for years to come.”
The Master Plan includes a mix of diverse projects intended to improve the guest experience, support larger and more diverse events, expand recreational opportunities, strengthen tourism, and support The Ranch’s long-term sustainability.
Master Plan projects are expected to advance over the next several years. As planning continues, project timelines, phasing, costs, design, and site location are subject to change.
Flintco Experience and Approach
Flintco brings more than 118 years of commercial construction experience and a strong portfolio of large-scale sports, entertainment, and public assembly projects. With a presence in Denver, Colorado, the company also brings regional experience, further strengthening its fit for the Ranch's next phase of development.
For Flintco, the work is about more than schedules and structures. It is also about how a project serves the people who will ultimately use it.
J.W. Stamison, Flintco Vice President and Area Manager, said the company approaches projects with a strong focus on relationships, community connection, and long-term impact, recognizing that successful projects are not only delivered well, but experienced well by the people they serve.
That approach carries through how Flintco plans and delivers its work, prioritizing safety, coordination, and collaboration across ownership, design, and construction teams. On an active campus like The Ranch, where events and daily operations continue throughout construction, that means carefully aligning project execution with public use to ensure a safe, seamless experience for guests, staff, and the community.
“The work ahead is about more than building facilities; it’s about building spaces that bring people together,” said Linsey Chalfant, The Ranch Master Plan Project Manager. “With Flintco on board, we’re strengthening our ability to deliver these projects thoughtfully, safely, and in a way that reflects the community’s vision for The Ranch.”
