Growing The Ranch: What’s Underway and What’s Next- Phase II Construction Updates.
As we move further into Phase II of The Ranch Master Plan, you may start to notice more construction activity around campus. While things may look a little different for a while, every step is helping us build toward a better guest experience, while we continue to host the events you love.
Below is a quick look at what’s underway now and what’s coming next.
What’s Happening Now: Event Lawn Construction
The Event Lawn is officially taking shape. Our first concrete pours are underway, and you’ll see the layout become more visible in the coming months as work continues.
These pours are creating key “activation nodes” for future events, including:
- Food truck and vendor areas
- Support equipment zones
- Primary pedestrian pathways connecting the Lawn to nearby campus amenities
Concrete will be poured in phases to keep the site safe and accessible, coordinate underground utility tie-ins, and allow proper curing as construction progresses.
Coming Up Next: Interim Event Plaza Construction
Construction on the Interim Event Plaza will begin in early March and continue through July, with work expected to wrap up the week before the Larimer County Fair.
What to expect during this time:
- The west-side service road by Blue Arena will be closed
- The drop-off roundabout in the interim plaza will be adjusted slightly
- Impacts to traffic, campus circulation, and pedestrian movement are expected to be minimal

As we get closer to Interim Plaza construction, you can expect additional information, including FAQ’s, a visual map showing construction zones, and updated pedestrian and vehicle routes.

For everyone’s safety while construction is underway, please follow posted signage, use designated routes, and stay out of construction zones.
