DISCOVER THE MAJESTY OF THE BIG THUNDER DRAFT HORSE SHOW JANUARY 12-14

(Loveland, CO) – The Big Thunder Draft Horse Show at the Ranch Events Complex in Loveland returns Friday, January 12, 2024 through Sunday, January 14, 2024. Show times are Friday at 6:30 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m., and Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

The event draws competitors, including many hitches with National and World Champion status, from across the United States and Canada. Competitors bring a variety of draft horses including Clydesdales, Belgians, and Percherons. To hear the powerful sound of their hooves stomping through the arena is reason enough to experience this educational and entertaining show for the whole family.  

 Newly introduced in 2024, the ladies’ four-horse “Drive4TheCure” event is a powerful and heartening showcase. Exclusive to women drivers, this event resonates with a profound cause – supporting cancer awareness. It brings together skilled drivers in a stirring display of unity and purpose, adding a poignant layer of significance to the show. Additionally, all guests are given the chance to walk through the barns to see these massive, beautiful horses before and after each show. Visiting the horses provides an up-close encounter, allowing attendees of all ages to connect with these animals on a more intimate level.
