Before the Memories Are Made: The Partnership Helping Shape What’s Next at The Ranch
Before the first concert echoes through a new outdoor amphitheater, before families gather in the Event Plaza on a summer evening, and before the next generation experiences moments that stay with them for life, the places that make those experiences possible first have to be imagined, designed, and built.
Now, The Ranch has selected the construction partner who will help bring those future experiences to life.
Following a competitive RFP process, The Ranch has officially selected Flintco, a national commercial construction firm with an office in Colorado, to help bring several Master Plan projects to life.
For some, this may sound like another construction update. For Northern Colorado, it marks an exciting step forward in the continued evolution of a place already deeply woven into the region’s identity.
For generations, The Ranch has been part of Northern Colorado’s story, bringing people together for traditions, celebrations, and shared moments. The Master Plan is designed to build on that foundation by creating new places to gather and new experiences for the community.
“Selecting Flintco marks an important step forward in carrying The Ranch’s next chapter from vision into reality,” Ranch Managing Director Conor McGrath said.
As Northern Colorado continues to grow, this partnership will help deliver projects that build on The Ranch’s history, support the community, enhance the guest experience, and strengthen The Ranch as a regional destination for years to come, McGrath said.
Building with Experience, Purpose, and Community in Mind
Founded in 1908, Flintco brings more than 118 years of commercial construction experience and a strong portfolio of large-scale sports, entertainment, and public assembly projects. With an office in Colorado, the company also brings regional experience that further strengthens its fit for the work ahead at The Ranch.
Flintco also places a strong emphasis on investing in the communities where its teams live and work.

That same community-focused mindset came through in a recent conversation with J.W. Stamison, Flintco Vice President and Area Manager; Derek Prouty, Flintco Preconstruction Manager; and Jason White, Flintco Project Director.
For them, the work is about more than buildings. It is about the people who will use and experience the spaces.
At The Ranch, that people-first approach carries extra meaning. In 2017, Larimer County voters approved continued investment in The Ranch through the 0.15% sales and use tax to support the long-term improvement, operation, and future of the campus under the Master Plan.
“The vision of the community eventually experiencing the elements of this project that various stakeholders contributed to along the way is something extremely fulfilling,” Stamison said.
Honoring that public trust also means making progress without losing sight of the experiences already happening across the campus. Phase II construction will be phased to keep The Ranch open and active while minimizing disruptions to events, daily operations, and community use.
Prouty said Flintco understands the responsibility of working on an active campus and will prioritize the safety of visitors, staff, families, and ongoing operations throughout construction.
“Safety is paramount at Flintco,” Prouty said.
Creating Spaces for What Comes Next
As Phase II projects continue through planning and preconstruction, the focus remains on more than construction alone.
The future of The Ranch is not simply about adding new infrastructure. It is about creating more opportunities for people to gather, celebrate, connect, and experience Northern Colorado together in new ways, The Ranch Master Plan Project Manager Linsey Chalfant said.
“With Flintco on board, we’re strengthening our ability to deliver these projects thoughtfully, safely, and in a way that reflects the community’s vision for The Ranch,” Chalfant said.
Long after construction is complete, what will remain are the experiences people have in these spaces. Singing along at a concert, cheering during a game, spending a summer evening with family and friends, or simply sharing a moment that becomes part of their connection to The Ranch.
Through its work at The Ranch, Flintco hopes to help create spaces that become a core part of the community and continue to bring people together for years to come, White said.
And long before those memories are made, the places that will hold them are being shaped one project, one partnership, and one shared vision at a time.
The Ranch Master Plan
The Ranch Master Plan is a long-term roadmap that guides future growth and investment while preserving the experiences, events, and traditions that make The Ranch special.
The Master Plan includes a mix of projects intended to improve the guest experience, support larger and more diverse events, expand recreational opportunities, strengthen tourism, and support The Ranch’s long-term sustainability.
Master Plan projects are expected to advance over the next several years. As planning continues, project timelines, phasing, costs, design, and site location are subject to change.
