Bob and Debbie Dehn were raised in small towns in Northern New Jersey. They were married in 1979, packed up a 16-foot trailer and headed west.  They landed in Loveland, CO and it has been their home for 43 years.  Debbie taught science in the Thompson R2J school district for almost 20 years.  Bob, a union Sprinkler Fitter, started Front Range Fire Protection in 1984 and they have owned and operated this business in Loveland for 38 years.  Today, Front Range Fire Protection employs close to 50 people.  In 1994, they opened Saddle Ridge Farms, a horse boarding, breeding and training facility, raising paint and quarter horses.

Bob and Debbie have been volunteering in the Northern Colorado area since first moving to Loveland.  Bob has coached dozens of youth sports teams and Debbie served as a youth advisor and Board Member for local APHA and AQHA horse clubs.  They were long time volunteers with the Community Kitchen and the Interfaith Hospitality Network.  They have worked with organizations and programs for youth-at-risk and children with special needs and have been very actively involved with Hearts and Horses Therapeutic Riding Center in Loveland since 2009.  But it was in 1992 when their children joined the Hoof Beats 4-H club that they became involved with the Larimer County 4-H program and connected with the agricultural community of Northern Colorado.  Debbie signed up as a 4-H leader for goat and horse and still serves as a horse project leader for the Desperados 4-H Club and the co-superintendent for the horse program at the Larimer County Fair.  They have hosted countless clinics and activities for 4-H youth at Saddle Ridge Farms.  Their daughter, Kristi, and daughter-in-law, Hilary, are also 4-H leaders in Larimer County.  Bob currently serves on the Loveland Construction Advisory Board and has been serving on the advisory committee for the construction of the new 4-H horse and livestock building at The Ranch Events Complex.
