The New Year’s Eve Extreme Rodeo Challenge is back! Ring in the New Year at the New Year’s Eve Extreme Rodeo Challenge, presented by Pedersen Toyota, at the Blue Arena on Saturday, December. 31 at 7:30 p.m. The event returns with rodeo favorites such as Saddle Bronc Riding, Bareback Riding, Bull Riding, Bullfighting, and the ever-popular Mutton-Bustin’.
The New Year’s Eve Extreme Rodeo Challenge is a Northern Colorado staple when it comes to ringing in the New Year. This event is enjoyed by everyone from the first timer to the experienced rodeo fan; be sure to bring out the whole family! Freestyle bullfighting, the craziest event in rodeo, returns once again in 2022. This event features the toughest bulls pitted against rodeo athletes who are trying to outmaneuver these 1,300-pound power-house animals. The wrecks are abundant, and the excitement is nonstop in this battle that truly pits man against beast.
After the New Year’s Eve Extreme Rodeo Challenge, the excitement will continue next door at The Ranch’s FNBO Building, with the K99 NoCo New Year’s Bash! Bring the whole family to count down to the New Year with live entertainment beginning at 9 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 day-of-event. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $50, which include access to the designated VIP area near the stage, a selection of appetizers, party favors, and a champagne toast.
